Load Cells - Measuring / Monitoring Technologies
iSun has experience with load cells and measuring and monitoring technologies. We can incorporate load/force measurement into a variety of applications. We have developed, patented and proprietary technology, for specialty measuring and monitoring applications.
We can help you design a new product or prototype to meet your needs. We can provide load cell solutions on a stand-alone basis or with complete integrated systems, under our contract manufacturing umbrella.
When you measure forces or loads, a number of application requirements need to be carefully considered. These include:
- Operating Temperature Conditions and load cell accuracy (Well controlled, room temperature or outdoor, harsh environments with changing humidity and temperature)
- Load Introduction and the mechanical influences of product performance
- Standard products include Single Points, Bending Beams, Shear Beams, Tension and Compression Load Cells. Our Engineers will work with you to find right load cell or sensor for your application
- Custom sensors can be designed into system where standard products are not applicable
- Full knowledge of Legal For Trade applications requiring NTEP or OIML certifications
- Output requirement (Analog mV/V, 0-5V, 4-20mA, Digital USB, Digital Wireless, Digital RS-232/485)
- Measurement Speed (1Hz or up to 100Hz or faster than 100Hz)
- Total cost of operation (small quantity or large volumes)
